How do you make a pumpkin pan?

what do you need:

  • 16 oz mason jar
  • Orange and green spray paint, adult finish project or craft paint for toddlers
  • black acrylic paint
  • brush
  • black permanent marker

Step-by-step instructions

Before you start, lay out a few newspapers.

In a well-ventilated area, spray your glass jar and the green ring on the glass jar lid with orange paint and let it dry for a few hours or overnight.

While the kids are working on this project, have them paint the jars and lids with craft paint. You can paint the inside or outside of the pan. Depending on the paint, several coats of paint may be required.

Let the paint dry. Once dry, screw the green ring on the lid onto the orange glass jar.

Use a black marker to draw a Halloween pumpkin face on the front of the orange mason jar.

Fill in your painted face with a brush and black paint and let it dry.

Finish! You made your mason jar pumpkin.
