  • 16 oz mason jar
  • green spray paint
  • black acrylic paint
  • big shiny eyes
  • Hot glue/hot glue gun;
  • small tip brush
  • black marker

Put down some old clippings before you start, as it can get a little messy.

In a well-ventilated area, spray green paint from your mason jar and let it dry for a few hours or overnight.

Acrylic paint works best if younger kids are working on this project, but you may need to apply multiple coats to get the look you want.

Paint the ring on the lid of the glass jar black and allow to dry.

Screw the black lid ring back onto the green jar and glue the 2 gooey eyes to the front of the jar, right side up.

Use a black marker to draw a zigzag mouth under the eyes and dots around the face.

Use a small brush to paint your mouth and polka dots with black paint and let your jar dry.
