How to Make Handprints for Father’s Day

what do you need:

  • Variety of paints: different skin tones, different hair colors and color options for clothes
  • brush
  • Canvas or cardboard

Optional bow crafting

  • A pair of scissors
  • glue
  • Cardboard in different colors

Have paint and canvas or cardboard ready.

We’ll start by creating the handprint face. Paint palm area with desired skin tone. Paint fingers with desired hair color. You don’t need to color your thumb.
We recommend giving the paints a little more water so they don’t dry too quickly.

Press your hand onto the canvas or paper, on the top half of the area, with your fingers on it.

Turn the cloth over.

Continue to draw hands (same hand or another). Paint the palm of your hand with the shirt color you want on the handprint. In addition to the fingertips, paint the thumb and pinky the same color.

How to make a handprint for Father’s Day

What do you need:
variety of paints – different skin tones, different hair colors and a selection of colors for clothes
brush
canvas or card
Optional to make a tie
the scissors
glue
card stock in different colors

Step by step tutorial
Prepare your paints and canvas or card.
We’ll start by making the face of the handprint. Paint the palm part in the desired skin colors. Paint the fingers with the desired hair color. You don’t have to color the thumb.
We recommend that the paints be a bit waterier so they don’t dry out too quickly.
Press hand to canvas or paper – on top half of area with fingers on top.

Flip the canvas.
