How to Make a Centerpiece with Ghost Lollipops

What Ghost Lollipops Need:

  • Lollipop
  • Several sheets of white tissue paper
  • black ribbon or wire
  • black marker
  • A pair of scissors

For the center part:

  • Festive barrels, vases or jars for storing lollipop spirits
  • a patterned muslin strip

Step-by-step instructions

Cut a piece of tissue paper in half lengthwise. Fold it in half and then again until you have a small square.

Lay the folded tissue paper flat on top of the lollipop.

Squeeze it around the top of the nipple to fit the shape of the nipple. This forms your mind.

Tie the bottom of the head with black ribbon or thread and fasten it securely to the tissue paper.

Trim the ends of the ribbon or wire with scissors.

Use a black marker to draw two circles on the ghost’s eyes and one on the ghost’s mouth.

Repeat for all remaining lollipops.

Place tissue paper on the bottom of a bucket, jar, or other holiday medium you plan to use as a centerpiece.

Glue the lollipop to the tissue paper in the container. If they don’t hold up well, you can add more tissue paper to the container to help stabilize them.

Take a strip of patterned fabric and thread it in and out of the ghost lollipop stick in the container, tucking it to one side.

This will hide the tissue paper hidden at the bottom of the container and give your centerpiece a nicer look.
